There are about 160 of these semi-wild barbary apes to be seen at the 'Apes Den' at Queens Gate and in the area of the 'Great Siege Tunnels'.
We recommend you visit the Barbary Apes with a 'rock tour' as the driver goes there day in day out and knows exactly where they stay. He might even bring some nuts around for you to feed them. But although Barbary Apes might look cute and come up to you (or even sit on you) don't touch them yourself as they are wild animals. An unforgettable experience and fun for the whole family!
