Puerto BanusIt is well known for its wide variety of designer boutiques, international restaurants and bars, all open until the early hours! It is a place that is frequently visited by royals, rich and famous and where you see…and have to be seen. Owning a property in Puerto Banus does not come cheap. Especially those with views of the marina or situated front line beach. As both our offices are situated in the first line of the marina, we have a large selection and always updated information on properties in this area. Below we will give you some insight on the urbanisations in, or just outside Puerto Banus. Gray d'AlbionMost properties here enjoy breathtaking sea views as this is a front line beach urbanisation, situated only metres from the entrance of the actual marina. It has a great architectural design where a lot of marble has been used on the outside. Features include garage – and storage spaces, lush tropical gardens with a large swimming pool and various fountains and other water features. It also has the privilege of a private access to the beach. Playas del DuqueThis prestigious front line beach urbanisation is very popular because of the top quality apartments but even more so because of its beautiful and very romantic gardens from where you have direct access to the beach. Designed on different levels, featuring three swimming pools, a small lake, ponds and shady walks and with two open air restaurants exclusively for the use of residents and their guests. The complex comprises of a 24 concierge service to welcome you when entering the building, as well as all-day security, clerical staff and full-time technical service personnel. There is also an independent indoor restaurant and sports centre with heated pool, Jacuzzis, saunas, beauty salon and a state of the art gymnasium. Los GranadosThis luxurious and 24h secured front line beach complex is situated in a privileged location, in the heart of Puerto Banús but isolated from the noise and bustle of the marina. It consists of 2 urbanisations; Los Granados l & Los Granados ll where all properties have been built with top quality materials and enjoy the most spectacular sea views because of the ´half moon´ design of the building facing the sea. Both urbanisations have absolutely fantastic gardens with two swimming pools of which one is heated, and a gymnasium with sauna. Some of the ground floor apartments and penthouses even have a private swimming pool. Alcazaba BeachThis is a long established urbanisation in a 3rd line beach location. It is a luxurious 24 h secured complex with reception and has been build to very high standards. The communal areas are beautifully kept with sub tropical gardens, fountains, ponds and comprise of an indoor as well as two outdoor swimming pools, spa, gymnasium, sauna and last but not least the well known ´Trader Vics´ restaurant which is opened every night. Only very few properties have sea views though. Andalucia del Mar A well established urbanisation that is not as luxurious as the ones mentioned above, but very popular and situated in a top location. Part of the urbanisation could be classed as ´first line beach´ and some properties enjoy spectacular views. The complex is enclosed and has 24h security and lovely gardens with direct access to the beach. Terrazas del BanúsThis urbanisation is situated behind the marina where you are just a few steps away from what’s going on in the buzzing port, but far enough to escape the noise. The urbanisation is enclosed comprising of a reception to welcome you 24 h a day, and a quite modern interior with state of the art lifts to take you to your property. The communal gardens are shared with the urbanisation ´Jardines de Banús´ and there is a total of 3 swimming pools and a paddle tennis court. Only apartments on the higher floors enjoy sea views. Jardines de BanúsThis is a modest but well established urbanisation very close to the entrance of the port, but well away from the noise. It is an enclosed urbanisation that shares the gardens and swimming pools with the bit more luxurious urbanisation ´Terrazas del Banús´. Only some of the properties enjoy sea views. Marina BanúsThis modern and quite luxurious urbanisation is situated next to the popular ´Marina Banús´commercial centre and opposite ´El Corte Ingles´. The community has 24h security and comprises of shops, restaurants, beautifully kept gardens with a swimming pool, gymnasium, squash court and all at just 50 metres from the beach. Playa del Rocio This relatively new front line beach urbanisation is situated at the end of Puerto Banús close to where you can admire the statue of ´Jose Banús´. It is enclosed and has a reception with 24h security and comprises of beautifully kept communal gardens with an adult and children’s pool with lifeguard in high season, large green areas and direct access to the beach. La Isla This is a luxurious urbanisation build in a typical whitewashed Spanish-Moorish style and ideally situated at only 200 metres from the beach between hotel ´Tryp Dinamar´ and the urbanisation ´La Alcazaba´. Some of the features in this urbanisation are a reception, 24h security and absolutely stunning gardens with ponds, streams and other water features, a very large swimming pool, sauna & Jacuzzi. Most of the apartments have garden and/or mountain views and some of the penthouses enjoy a plunge pool on their solarium. Properties in the heart of the MarinaAs some people can never be close enough to where ´the action´ takes place, there are the different blocks of apartments right in the heart of the marina. The ones on the front have uninterrupted views over the marina towards the Mediterranean and when sitting on your balcony it feels like you are on a terrace but with the advantage of being in your own home. From the blocks behind, you can often get a glimpse of the sea too, especially if it concerns one of the higher apartments. As most of them where built when the port first opened, they could do with some reformation, something many owners have already done before putting their property on the market. |
